Sun Rise
Sun rises bringing hope along with her
Warmth floods through my body
Filling my heart with joy and happiness
Light reaches through blinds
To creep closer to where you lie
Spreading like flames across the bed
Your face in stark relief against white
Sleeping peacefully against my shoulder
Hair tousled, angelic smile creases visage
Lying like this is heaven to my heart
If I hold my breath you might not wake
And bliss will be mine till eternity
